LoTR

I finally finished Lord of The Rings, minutes ago. After many side journeys, namely five Harry Potter books. I've finished. It's bitter sweet finishing books. You become very attached to the story and the characters, and when it's a very good story you don't want it to end. This was the case with LoTR, it's really a mixed bag of emotions at the end. You know the story is over, and there isn't anywhere left for it to go, but still you don't want it to end. You'd almost be happy reading the day-to-day adventures of Aragon, Sam, Pippin, Marry, Gandolf, Gimli, and Legolas. Like what time they woke up, what they ate for breakfast, etc, etc. Just to keep the memory of their adventure alive. It's that good.

Well I've got two more Harry Potter books to read and I'm done with that story. On deck is a Dostoevsky novel, The Idiot. I really like Dostoevsky, his writing is very Russian. In that how I would picture 19th century Russian to be. It's always full of passion and people acting passionately.

Then maybe I'll finish up my Camus collection or maybe I'll read some more Plato. Anyone care to vote?
